ABOUT ROCHESTER ANALYTICS
Fortune 500 Experience. Main Street Values.
Meet the person behind the data.

Hello, I’m Samuel.
I grew up in Corning, New York — the town Rand McNally named the “Most Fun Small Town in America” in 2013. It’s the kind of place where people work hard, look out for each other, and take pride in what they build. Some of the most loved national brands were born right here in upstate New York (Kodak, Xerox, Corning, Bausch & Lomb, Fisher-Price, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Cool Whip, Jell-O, American Express) and I think that’s no accident. When you come from a culture that honors quality, hard work, and community, you bring something special to everything you do.
That’s the foundation I built Rochester Analytics on — and it’s why I do things differently than most consulting firms.
My Story
Before opening Rochester Analytics, I spent my career in the Fortune 500 world — first as a campaigns operations analyst, then as an information analyst, and finally as a manager of analytics. I learned from the best, worked with massive datasets, and helped companies use data to make smarter decisions.
But over time, I realized something was missing.
The businesses that needed my skills the most — the small and family-owned businesses that are the backbone of our communities — couldn’t afford a Fortune 500 analytics team. And the positive impact I could make for them would help my community more directly than anything I could achieve in the corporate world.
So I made the leap. Rochester Analytics was born from a simple belief: every business deserves access to the same powerful tools and strategies, regardless of size.
What I Do
If we met at a BBQ and you asked me what I do, I’d say this:
I help business owners find their best customers, improve what’s working, and fix what’s broken.
Over the course of my career, I’ve helped many companies transition from mass-spam emails and phone calls to targeted, meaningful communication that actually drives growth. That kind of transformation is what gets me excited — taking something that feels overwhelming and making it simple, clear, and effective.
My Philosophy on Data & AI
Data Science and AI are the future of all business — not just the big guys. Here’s what I believe:
AI should do the routine and repetitive work so business owners can focus on vision and ideas instead of code and number crunching.
The biggest misconception about analytics and AI is that they’re only for big businesses. In reality, every business can benefit from artificial intelligence and analytics. You don’t need a massive budget or a team of engineers. You need the right partner who can translate the technology into plain English and apply it to your specific goals.

Why I’m Different
I understand the importance of small businesses to communities and to families. And I understand the feeling of putting my last dollar into my business in the hopes of achieving my dream.
That’s not something you’ll hear from most consulting firms. But it’s the truth, and it’s why I treat your business like my own — with honesty, care, and a genuine commitment to your success.
MY VISION
Building the Next Generation
My long-term vision is to offer mentorship programs for students at local colleges so they can learn real-world skills — marketing, analytics, pricing, and so much more. The next generation of talent is right here in upstate New York, and I want to help them grow while they help our local businesses thrive.
WHEN I’M NOT WORKING
Life Outside the Data
You’ll find me teaching at ArrowKids, volunteering at local schools and libraries, or out on the trails hiking and taking photographs. I believe in giving back to the community that raised me — and I believe some of the best ideas come when you step away from the screen and get outside.
